Maintenance - Recycling
 RS ISOLSEC's transformers do not require any specific maintenance. All components are stable and fixed. Under intensive use, their life span is of several decades.

| - For indoor equipment: do a periodic dusting and cleaning of the casing or the resin enveloppe in order to avoid any risk of arcing between terminals.
- For outdoor equipment: scratch clean as soon as conducting dust sticks up onto the surface. Electrical insulation should be preserved all along the creepage distance.
- Checking the electrical caracteristics is necessary only after an electrical shock (over-intensity or over-voltage beyond the technical specifications), or mechanical shock (crack, missing resin chunk, broken casing).
In these instances it is recommended to ship back the transformer for complete factory testing.
- RS ISOLSEC transformers are made of steel, copper, silica, and fixed resin. As such, they can be discarded as Basic Industrial Waste (BIW) without particular caution. Polymerized resin is perfectly stable and fixed.
Resin impregnates all internal components, so it is not recommended to attempt to separate each internal component.
